At Five Star Athletics, All Star Cheer is a year-round sport built to have something for every athlete, whatever their age, experience, or goals. Rather than traditional sideline cheering, our competitive routines combine stunting, tumbling, jumps, and dance into one high-energy 2 1/2 minute performance. We are proud to be one of the only programs in Northern Nevada to consistently offer teams from Level 1 all the way to Worlds Level 6, so there is always a path forward as your athlete grows. Every program below represents a different level of commitment, from an 8-week introductory session all the way to a year-round, Worlds-bound Premier team.

AGES 5–10 · NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
An 8-week introduction to cheer basics: stunting, jumps, motions, and tumbling in a fun, low-pressure environment. The season wraps up with an exciting in-house performance for family and friends, no competition required. It is the ideal first step for a young athlete brand new to the sport.
Commitment level: Our lowest commitment program — one weekly practice for 8 weeks plus one performance.

AGES 3–6 · ENTRY-LEVEL COMPETITIVE
Ready for a taste of real competition? Novice teams are a lower-commitment, entry-level competitive program for athletes of any experience level. Athletes train once a week year-round, focusing on skill progression, teamwork, and confidence-building while competing in about 5 local Level 1 events.
Commitment level: One weekly practice, 12-month season, with about 5 local competitions.

AGES 3–16 · NO TRYOUTS REQUIRED
Our Full Year Prep program offers the full competition experience with less time commitment and lower cost. Teams train twice a week for six months, learn a complete routine, and compete at four local one-day events, a great fit for families who want a real competitive season without a year-round commitment.
Commitment level: Two weekly practices, six-month season, four local competitions.

AGES 5+ · LEVELS 1–3
Our Half Year program offers the full competition experience with less time commitment and lower cost. Teams train twice a week January-May. Teams learn a complete routine, and compete at 2-3 events, a great fit for families who want a real competitive season without a year-round commitment.
Commitment level: January-May, two weekly practices, 2-3 travel competitions per season.

AGES 5+ · LEVELS 1–3
Our Elite Teams are nationally recognized programs for athletes ready for a serious, structured competitive experience at Levels 1–3. Athletes train twice a week year-round, compete in local and regional events, and take on two travel competitions each season.
Commitment level: Year-round, two weekly practices, two travel competitions per season.

AGES 7+ · LEVELS 2–5
Our Premier Teams are built for experienced athletes ready to compete at Levels 2–5. Athletes train twice a week year-round with mandatory tumbling sessions, developing the advanced stunting, tumbling, and choreography skills needed for elite competitive excellence. Premier teams compete at local and national events, with travel required for major competitions.
The Cheerleading Worlds: Our top Premier athletes have the opportunity to qualify for an end-of-season trip to The Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando, Florida, the biggest stage in the sport. Earning a spot at Worlds takes elite Level 5–6 tumbling and stunting skills, discipline, and a serious training commitment, and it represents the highest level of achievement an All Star athlete can reach.
Commitment level: Year-round, two weekly practices plus mandatory tumbling, travel required for select competitions.
