Novice Cheer

AGES 3-15 - ENTRY-LEVEL COMPETITIVE

Ready for a taste of real competition? Novice is our entry-level competitive program for athletes of any experience level. Teams practice once a week year-round and compete at Level 1 in about 5 local events throughout the Reno and Northern California area each season.

Instead of placement trophies, athletes receive performance rankings at each competition, so the goal is to continually improve scores and rankings throughout the season, allowing every athlete to develop at their own pace while gaining valuable experience in the world of competitive cheer.

Commitment level: One weekly practice, an 11-month season, with about 5 local competitions.

The Perfect Introduction to Competitive Cheer

Our Novice Program is built for athletes ages 3-15 who are ready to commit to a season of competitive cheer for the first time. Competing at Level 1, Novice athletes focus on skill progression, teamwork, and confidence-building while competing locally throughout the Reno and Northern California area.

Rather than placement trophies, athletes receive performance rankings at each competition, so the emphasis stays on steady improvement and gaining real competitive experience at a manageable, once-a-week pace.
